travel photography | stratford-upon-avon & london

after a quick stop in stratford-upon-avon to visit shakespeare's birthplace & grab some cream tea, we were off to londontown. the chamber singers sang their piece, "a nightingale sang in berkeley square," in berkeley square itself. we stopped by buckingham palace gate and strolled through st. james's park. our local guide took us around tower of london and the stunning st. paul's cathedral.

our concert in london was at st. john's smith square, and the uva london alumni club came and did a cocktail hour beforehand to mingle. a lovely friend & her family came, and it was sweet to see the uva alums sing & sway with us along to the good ole song.

in london, I just kept thinking how I wanted more time to take photos, especially of my lovely friends & especially since I had seen most of these places on this front end of the trip. it was surely a whirlwind, in the best way. already can't wait to be back.
